I am a regular guy, dad, father, brother, son, living in the beautiful USA, who has been involved in the world of miles and points for atleast the last 10 years . This has resulted in travel and experiences that I could personally never afford.

Some examples of such travel, was travelling to Turkey and Spain in business class, staying at aspirational properties such as the Ritz-Carlton Tokyo and Bodrum Edition in Bodrum, Turkey, among others. This has only been possible for a family of 4, due to the magic of points and miles.

Miles and points also help with the more mundane, such as booking last minute flights in the event of an emergency, for a modest points outlay versus an exorbitant cash cost.

I always assumed everyone knew about points and miles, but talking to friends and family, I realized how difficult and time consuming this hobby can be. The one thing I constantly heard was how hard it was to get started.
